Investigating implementation and communication of Cohesion Policy with Local Managing Authorities.
Cohesion Policy perception and communication
PERCEIVE project investigates, in different European regions, how much citizens feel European and to what extent this is related to the implementation of Cohesion Policy.
What are the workshops about?
Thanks to these and other initiatives, the research of PERCEIVE Project will shape itself in order to meet needs and criticalities that practitioners of Cohesion Policy encounter during their work, thus generating a process of co-creation.
Governance
Discussing the data gathered during PERCEIVE’s focus groups. How have the qualitative and quantitative data provided by the LMAs been used? What did emerge from focus groups in the other case-study regions?
Perception
Presentation of our survey. The analysis will focus on the degree of knowledge about Cohesion Policy among respondents, and in the level of identification with Europe and the media.
Communication
Discussion of the LMAs communication strategies. How the overall communication is organized? How do they use the online communication? We will focus on the meaning of successful communication.
Recommendations
The most important output of these workshop will be the co-creation of policy recommendations that could be shared and used in the LMAs network in order to enhance the visibility of Cohesion Policy.

PERCEIVE workshops with the Local Managing Authorities in Spain were held in the cities of Merida (Extremadura) and Barcelona (Catalonia). These were the last two meetings that allowed PERCEIVE’s researcher to have a better understanding of Cohesion Policy in the case-study regions, to be integrated into the final recommendations.
